GeoAsia 7, the 7^th Asian geosynthetics conference was twice postponed for 20 months to November 2022 when Taiwan opened up the pandemic restriction. The conference brings about the advancement of geosynthetics with focuses on the Asian’s demand and versatility, special emphasis to sustainability. Gary presented a paper on the study of geosynthetics’ contribution to sustainable construction. It is hoped that ideas and knowledge can be brought to and shared in Hong Kong.
